The Flames players who were carrying yellow cards obtained during the joint 2010 World Cup and Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers, are now assured of not missing a game in Angola.
Confederation of African football (CAF) said this in a latest communication with all participating teams.
"CAF has nullified all yellow cards players accumulated in the qualifying rounds as agreed at its recent congress," said Suzgo Nyirenda, FAM administration Manager.
Flames qualified in AFCON with a record of one win over guinea and one all draw with Ivory coast.
Meanwhile Flames' key star Chiukepo Msowoya has said he is relieved to have ended his four game goal-drought last Tuesday against Egypt after he equalised from the bench two minutes before the final whistle.
Speaking in an interview at Alexander's Shire Highlands Hotel in Limbe, Malawi, Chiukepo said, "I was relieved because I had not scored in the past four games which sent some tongues wagging."
"When I saw Moses (Chavula) cross, I felt that was the time because I was strategically positioned and my header was as goo as usual."
