Burkina Faso national team on Tuesday, January 5 arrived in Angola ahead of their participation in the 2010 Africa Cup of Nations. They have arrived with 17 players and four managers.
Burkina Faso’s assistant coach, Paulo Pedro, said his team is equipped and that they promised to play hard to reach the quarter finals.
“We have done a good work and when it comes to the competition, we will be even better, for sure”, he stressed.
Paulo Pedro said they have arrived early in order to adapt country’s climate and to reduce pressure from trips to achieve good results.
However he was reluctant when speaking about his opponents in their Group B, (Côte d'Ivoire, Ghana and Togo) and he just said: “overcome many barriers to get to this phase”.
He also said that although he respects the other teams of his group, he has also a team which has its own qualities and can do anything to achieve its goals.
